ГУМФРЕЙС

Гумфрейс (Henry Noel Humphreys) — английский писатель и художник (1810-1879); издал в 1840 г. описание гравюр в "Views in Rome and its surrounding scenery" В. Б. Кука; затем вместе с Вествудом написал "British butterflies and their transformations" и "British moths a. their transformations". Из книг Г., им же иллюстрованных, известны "Illuminated illustrations of Froissarts chronicles", "The illuminated books of the middle ages", "A history of the art of printing" и др.
