ЛИЛАНД, ДЖОН

Лиланд, Джон (Leland, 1691-1766) — апологет христианства, принадлежал к секте пресвитериан в Англии. Более замечательные его сочинения: "A defence of Christianity" (1733), в ответ на соч. Тиндаля: "Christianity as old as the Creation"; "Divine Authority of the Old and New Testament" (1738); "Reflexions on Bolingbroke‘ s Letters on the Study and use of History" (1753) и "The advantage and neccessity of the Christian revelation" (1768).
